Streetwear

Street fashion or streetwear is a term used to describe fashion that is considered to have emerged not from studios, but from the grassroots. The term streetwear used to be a synonym for skate wear and basically that's what it still is: a type of fashion generally associated with youth culture and urban lifestyle. Items of streetwear are jackets and pants (trousers) such as baggypants, cargos, chinos, skinny pants as well as hoodeds and hooded zippers, t-shirts, shirts, longsleeves, sweatshirts, caps and hats, beanies, etc. Streetwear is what young people wear. It has to be individual, durable, stylish, functional, provocative and comfortable clothing for everyday use.
